Management Intern Opportunity (Full-time)

This is an ideal position for a native Chinese second year masters student who wants to apply and strengthen confidence in his/her English language communication skills while gaining practical business and management experience working directly with a highly credentialed and experienced senior management team.

Through this internship the successful candidate will further develop his/her research, critical thinking and business communication skills in both English and Chinese. This internship will also more effectively position the intern for full-time employment in highly competitive industries such as investment banking, management consulting and private equity or applying to top tier graduate programs outside of China.

Responsibilities:

•        Conducting primary and secondary research to support executive-level marketing, operations and financial decisions
•        Evaluating and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to make sound recommendations
•        Attending and summarizing meetings of key decision makers
•        Preparing PowerPoint presentations, drafting memos and producing other forms of formal business communication
•        Making initial contact with potential partners including corporations, media and governmental entities
•        Other tasks as required

Requirements:

•        Proven ability to think logically and reach sound conclusions
•        Excellent people skills and high EQ (can quickly establish rapport with wide range of personality types; easily demonstrate trustworthiness and competence)
•        Results-oriented, able and willing to work evenings and weekends
•        Write and speak clearly, concisely and persuasively; meticulous attention to detail
•        Keen interest in learning about business as well as hospitality industry in China
•        High-work ethic and sense of personal accountability
•        Good design sense and ability to use Photoshop and other related applications
•        Good knowledge of MS Office
•        Able to work well under pressure
